If you thought cemeteries were solemn places reserved for mourning and pigeons, you haven’t met Tenaya. Quirky, spooky, and dressed like a baroque specter at a goth garden party, she lit up the graveyard in the best kind of way: inappropriately fabulous.
Tenaya doesn’t do “mournful.” She does “maniacally grinning while lounging on a tombstone like it’s a fainting couch.” With an energy that’s somewhere between haunted doll and mischief demon, she brought levity to the land of the dead—and looked damn good doing it.
The shoot was full of contradictions: somber stones, playful poses. Dead silence, contagious laughter. It’s a spiritual experience, minus the actual spirits (we think).
The outfit? A swirling masterpiece of purple and black layers, dramatic as hell and twice as fun. Flowing fabric, textured lace, a splash of witchy nonsense—it gave “fashion funeral” in the best way. She moved like a banshee on vacation, striking poses that said, “Yes I’m haunting this grave, and yes, I look better than you.”
Shot in a real cemetery with bright lighting and wide-open space, the contrast was stunning. Every corner of stone and grass became Tenaya’s runway. She made the place feel less like a final resting spot and more like an exclusive underground party for the delightfully unalive.
Tenaya is unapologetically weird, hauntingly expressive, and completely unbothered by your expectations. She brought life to the dead space—quite literally—and reminded us all that being spooky doesn’t mean being serious. This is fashion with fangs. Attitude with ashes. Glamour that refuses to rest in peace.
